I mean if you press the delete history button under Tools on the internet, does it get deleted permanently so that NO ONE ELSE can see it ever? Thanks for answering!
And this is NOT for me, it’s for a friend.
no, its still there somewhere… you can try emptying ur recycle bin… but it is still elsewhere aswell.
i am also trying to find out about this same ttopic… tricky
there are of course ways in which you can retrieve that info -like if ur the FBI or sumthin- but for the regular, average computer user, it should be safe if u just delete it ur way… i think.
Yeah pretty much, you could also go to the History tab in IE and delete them personally to be sure, but your way will still get rid of all History files
Yes and no.
It’s mostly yes. The no part is there because there is a way but I don’t think anybody would waste their time using applications that recover lost data from the disk and then start using other applications to interpret and maybe reconstruct the recovered data. The process is too boring and frustrating to even think of. And I hate discussing philosophy on these matters
Nothing is permanent. The FBI has special software that can recover just about anything. To the average PC user, yes it is deleted.
No, it does not. All of your files and web pages are still accessible in the caché. If you don’t want a site or file to be seen, don’t use it.
