I’ve had bad dark under eye circles for a long time, it’s not lack of sleep or anything. What is the best makeup to use? Everything I have used settles into fine lines and fades away after a few hours. I’m only 21 and I feel like it makes me look old! I’ve used Clinique, Dr.’s Formula and regular foundation, plus set it with powder. Please help

It may be because of stress, being tired during the day, or something else of that sort. I think you should use under eye cremes and green tea bags. The green tea makes your skin look more natural and it makes it more healthy. Try natural home made Products rather than makeup. Instead of covering up your flaws, fix them. Get two tea bags, warm, and place them on your eyes for 20-30 minutes. Do this maybe 2 times a week, or more if desired. Hope I helped!

i have the same problem and i tried almost everything..i find that Concealers can do the job, foundation alone cannot. Foundation alone may not be enough to cover your dark under eye circles as it is transparent and is simply not formulated for coverage of this type.
if u started by moisturizing the eye area You will avoid the cakey look and feel and the concealer will not pull or tug this most delicate eye area during application,i use THE BODY SHOP with vitamins E cream.than i apply the BENEFIT eye bright pencil(its almost like the YSL touche Eclat)
than i put the LAURA MERCIER secret camouflage in SC4 .
and BOOM the dark circles are gone

I find Mac Studio Finish concealer works very well and completely covers up all of my under-eye darkness
Try to put a dark foundation or concealer where the darkness is, then a lighter one, then a powder to set. You can also do this for redness, too.
If you have really bad dark cricles like I do some days i really like using bobbi brown’s corrector, I find that it really nutrilizes the color and hides the dark circle.
Some other good Undereye concealers is Lancomes effacernes, this would have to be the best undereye concealer, this is so long lasting, it covers really well and it is also waterproof and sweatproof. The blending of this concealer is also really good and I found that it didn’t really settle into my fine lines.
For my routine daily for covering up dark circles I first apply a underye cream, right now i am using Nivea, then I would use my creamy concealer from Bobbi Brown, for this i use my fingers as I find that it really warms up the concealer and makes it easier to apply. Finally I use a translucent powder right now I am using MAC’s Prep and Prime Transparent powder. I find that this really keeps my concealer under my eyes staying on for the whole entire day.
I find that this routine has kept my dark circles away so hopefully this may work for you.
